This is a great Startup Collection
The diet is pretty simple: 2 days of milk (20 oz of whole milk of which you can substitute up to 10 oz of non flavored whole milk yogurtas part of the total allowance) and 2 days of veggies (NO STARCHY ONES!!!) 1-1/2 lbs of veggies + 2 fruits. All spices, seasonings and 0 calorie drinks are allowed anytime of day (i.e. diet soda, coffee, tea)   WATER is your biggest friend. Drink half your weight in ounces.
Here are some products and ingredients mentioned in recipes and where to get them to help you get through the diet.

Miracle Noodles or konjak noodles are allowed on the diet. They are made of a soluble fiber and contain no carbohydrates, starch, or calories.  They may be used once every 2 veggie days.  Serving size is 7 ounces.  The noodles have no flavor but will take on the flavor of the vegetables you put with them. 20Most of the people on our program seem to favor the angel hair as it is thin and described as less rubbery.

You can also get them locally if you have any Asian food stores or a good supermarket with an oriental ethnic food section – but if you buy them in the store be sure they are the shirataki noodles made of yam flour and not from tofu. The ones in the stores are usually the tofu shirataki and that is NOT allowed. The ingredients may read yam flour or konjak flour or glucomannan – they are all the same. They are usually in the refrigerated section. They are obtainable from Miracle Noodles http://www.miraclenoodle.com/index-1.html or from Konjak Foods http://www.konjacfoods.com/order/
Sour salt is just concentrated citric acid. i t is used for souring, sweet and sour dishes, and to perk recipes up a spec since it brightens the other flavors when added in small quantities to many dishes. (Check out the legal ketchup recipe!) Thanks Uncle Mitch! First check the Jewish foods ethnic section of your supermarket – it is a powder in a shaker bottle or www.greatamericanspice.com
