Weight again dropped some. Midway point. I am well in my “guaranteed 15 pounds per month loss” range. What I found works well is to drink 2 cups of water first thing when getting up. And then have a 2 cup (such as the Rose Hips) tea. 32 ounces drunk before 9 am is a good start for the body.

Day FOUR

Doing pretty well. So good even, that I don’t have much to say.
I’m glad to see the body fat dropping on the scale, sure indicator that I have been better with hydration. I’ll work on improving that even more. Yesterday I had 10+ cups of liquid. That’s not great for being on this diet, considering that on a normal, non-diet day drink 8 cups. My current goal is to reach 16 cups. Most important thing is to have it always handy, the drinking becomes then like a steady stream.
Day THREE
Aug 12
YAY, today I’ll get some solid foods! Definitely looking forwards to it.
My scale shows 6.8 pounds less than when I began.
The dimmer on the joy is that I am obviously drinking too little water as my body fat percentage has gone up, it is 3% higher than it usually is in this weight range. I’ve always found a correlation between the BF and LB numbers on my (Tania) scale and with this can anticipate weight fluctuation and/or “true” weight indication. My BF now should be around 32% but it’s 35%. What I can expect – this at least is true for the past – is that when I am sufficiently hydrated the BF percentage will drop and the weight will go up and I’ll show my “true” weight. To ensure that I’ll work on the hydration, I began tracking this morning on how much liquid I truly drink per day. Will try and get specific, recommended numbers as I only know that A LOT is good, but as A LOT for some people means 6 cups and for others 12 a day I’m a bit in the air.
