Day THIRTY-ONE

Over the course of the past few days I noticed that my chill-sweat spells have finally diminished and are no longer constant but show only at times. Getting back into every day workout mode is really hard for me, but feeling good after my treadmill and weight workout this early morning.

I splurged on a specialty pot for cooking asparagus – if it arrives today, that’s what I’ll have, on the other hand, making some butternut squash fries also sounds very tempting and I’m not sure what sounds better to me. Isn’t this a nice problem to have?

Day TWENTY-FIVE

Last night I made my final decision to go 1 set of beads longer before moving onto transition. This equals to 12 more days from today on and makes things less pressured to reach to my final goal.

Began yesterday with (light) weight training and keeping my treadmill in. I really need to work on muscles, they have been neglected for far too long. Today I am back on milk. Definitely the more boring days.

Day TWENTY-FOUR

Had a hard time getting up. But managed to get me and myself not only onto the treadmill but also starting with the weight program. After all of this I am feeling quite good.

Weight is dropping on a very constant rate of about 1/2 pound a day. Drinking a lot.

Had a win this morning, seeing my body fat finally drop, it’s now close to 30%.

Day TWENTY-THREE

I am very, very glad it’s again a veggie day. Though all that roughage makes my stomach work like crazy and uhm, yeah, makes me air too. Embarrassing. But solid food! Was going to cook the Killer Chili today but had client conference calls keeping me nailed to the office chair. As the chili will take 3 hours of cooking I’m considering to make it only tomorrow and for today to get one of the other prepared foods out of the freezer.

One thing I did notice which I have had almost since the beginning of this program is elevated heart rate. This might be also a contributing factor to my sweat and chill spells. Usually, when I start with the treadmill, after moving already around a bit, my heart rate will be just above 90 – now, it is already above 150 when I begin. For this reason I’m keeping my routine light, ensure that I don’t get too high with the heart beating. Having a heart rate at resting being above 90 could also mean that very often during the day it will be between 125 and 135, the perfect fat burning rate – without even exercising!

Day TWENTY-ONE

Weight is dropping, body fat has remained. At this point I think that I will need 2 sets of beads to finish. I also realize that my former 130 pounds ideal weight was including muscles and that my ‘now’ 130 pounds will not have this but more fat instead. Which makes me think that I definitely will need to go a bit past the 130 and also that I will instantly need to work on building muscles again.
