Yep, I originally completed it in 2010 and had huge success with it and kept it all off for almost 2 years. Some life changes recently added back on, but currently I am motivated enough to get it all down again to my great low that I am actually sticking to the diet :)

 I just want to thank you very much for a very comprehensive website and for providing a great inspiration to your readers.  I was on the Bead Diet 2 yrs ago and had lost 20-25 lbs. I didn&#039;t regain all of the lbs back except 5 lbs.  But, I plan to lose some more lbs  specially I am determined to attend my 25th high school reunion in July 2012.

It seems that you did not follow the recommendation of 5 days off diet and if &#039;overdone&#039; then 1-2 days back on milk - if you keep on doing this, you ought to be good and not gain back.

Obviously you ARE eating more calories than your body is needing, so either you need to move/exercise the amount of &quot;over-&quot;calories or you need to eat less and more controlled or you need to add those 1-2 days of milk back into your life. It&#039;s the only way. If you eat too much your body will learn again to be fat. 

To gain 16 lbs back in 5 months ... the math is simple : 

1 pound = 3,500 calories. 
5 months = 5 x 30 days = 150 days
16 pounds = 16 x 3,500 = 56,000 too many calories in 150 days
56,000 / 150 = 374 calories too much per day

The bad news is that this means : don&#039;t eat that additional piece of cake each day or that double-cream latte at Starbucks. The good news is that these 374 calories are not THAT much to get under control. 

But you will need to get the amount of food/beverage intake versus activity under control. It&#039;s the only way.</description>

Had transition for 2-3 months. 
5 months later I gained back 16lbs...I am very sad.....how could I have a regular life after the bead diet? I was told my body was not going to remember I was fat. During the 5 months I didnt binge or had a bad diet...I just  WASNT on the bead diet and slowly started to get all the weight back...why this battle? how could I conquer it??</description>
