Another such stable week and I feel that I am well founded for the coming holiday season and that my weight has truly begun resetting itself.

When I was close to my weight goal, I was fretting over the possibility to gain during transition.

Haha. If I would have known, I would have gone onto transition a week earlier.

I am on my last day of week three of transition and I have lost unexpectedly another 7 pounds during those 3 weeks! I am actually battling, not to lose more because I do not want to end up with that what is called to be underweight – yeeks! I’m doing this by lightly “cheating” here and there, such as not to only eat two small fruits a day but either having a third one on that day or to eat large fruits instead. But even so – the weight is still dropping.

Isn’t this a great problem to have?!

Of course, this next week will be a big test, with 5 days out of town, client meeting(s) next to a wedding and dinners out with old friends long time not seen – I am sure I’ll work my way back up on those 7 pounds pretty darn fast. The nice thing about this (probable) fact is that I do not have to worry if or if not it will happen.

I had to go shopping today. Even my skinniest pants are falling off my hips and going all bundled up with a belt to a client does not feel very flattering. I still had an Abercrombie and Fitch gift certificate of over $200 – my last years birthday gift from my dad! – which I had kept for exactly the time such as now.

Almost 3 hours did I peruse the shops and came home with a whole bundle of stuff: pair of good slacks for business meetings, a dress which can be worn at the wedding in October, a Turtle neck for under the dress, bras, underwear and several pair of jeans. I am all set for a while. And exhausted was I after all of that!

It’s official – I am now a size 6. I was a 10 when people said I don’t need to lose weight. A size 6 with a waste of 28 inches. This is when finding a length of 32 inches becomes difficult, but 31 inches is okay mostly. I finally got again fitting jeans!

Finding the right new bra was more challenging. I am actually not sure if I could not have done better and should had gone some other place too, but by then I was tired and after trying on 25 different bras – not to speak of all the pants and dresses before that! – I was happy to get anything that felt somewhat decent. Not the way to spend $50 a bra, but heck, even if they are not perfect, I’ll still make use of them – and I was ready, ready, ready to be done. Numbers? What used to be before either 36B or 38B (depending the cut) was now all a 34B. With other words, I lost fat around my upper body without losing in cup size (even though I THINK they do look smaller, getting rid of fat can do that!). That’s what they always say on the list, you will lose fat, not boobs and I guess they are right

So, overall I am a happy camper. Makes this milk day a bit less cumbersome.

It is day 1 of my 2nd week of transition! And it’s the first week without beads. No more rubbing!!!

Over the course of the last week I lost another 2.5 pounds – which I had not planned for. What I’ve lost I tend to regain in muscle mass and weight. Have been going regularly 2x a week now to swim and also my daily treadmill routine is beginning again to feel like a routine. I’ve even began sticking to my additional weight lifting regimen. My body fat has also nicely reduced and stabilized at a lower level. Hoping to improve this even more with regular workout. To get my inner fluids running nicely, I ordered a rebounder and am looking forward to incorporate this in my whole regimen.

This morning I had a personal talk with the person from Accu Weight guiding me through my transition time. And I can add 2 new items to my regime! This will be a great addition. I definitely am feeling stronger since I’ve got protein added back into my meal plan and I also no longer am suffering under the chills and heat spells. Finally I can do my long awaited Frittata!

Once again. A first day of something new. T-R-A-N-S-I-T-I-O-N !!! It feels wonderful and exhilarating.

Only 7 more days of rubbing beads and then they are gone, gone, gone. Of course, it’s not “back to normal” and I still can’t have my frittata nor some chocolate nor can I mix dairy and veggies. But I can have PROTEIN – fish or chicken. WOW. And I can eat until 8 pm. NICE. There is even some (light) allowance on VINEGAR. Yumm, Balsamic Vinegar and salads! One thing back to ‘normal’. Even more! I can have a fruit at any time, even after 8 pm.

Having some of the restrictions removed truly feels like heaven. And I celebrated it accordingly. After my swim this morning I stopped by Whole Foods Market to grab some fresh fish, nice veggies and delicious fruit. I am ready for the next 5 days! And I had my first fish! Wonderful.

It could not be more fitting then the fact that today I weigh exactly my end goal weight! The past few days I had bounced around weight wise, gone even almost a pound below and then more than a pound above it. But now it seems to have come to it’s true finish line and it’s exactly what I wanted it to be at this point. Very, very happy about this. Not happy though that I woke up with a horrendous migraine, I barely know where I am.

Today is a day of shuffling numbers and plans around.

Originally I was planning on going onto transition this coming Thursday, calculating that then I would be roughly where I want to be with the weight. But surprise, surprise, I am now already less than 1/2 pound away from the goal number! Knowing that I am having 2 trips in October, one an extended weekend with a marriage and the second marriage a normal length weekend I knew that my milk days can not be on the weekends! I had always computed that I will be doing “5 days veggies/protein, 2 days milk” and that had been my stable assumption the past few weeks. For these reasons I always thought that I will be starting this coming Thursday with transition beginning with the 5 days veggies/protein and was beginning to fear that I’ll go way too much below my goal weight because I did not want to begin transition tomorrow, Sunday, as else my future milk days would fall onto Fridays and Saturdays, just the days I will be at parties and other social gatherings.

Funny how ‘blind’ one can get to a simple solution. I can just as well begin the first transition week with milk days! So my first transition day will be Tuesday with the first milk day. Looking at the remainder of the year, having milk days being Tuesday and Wednesday fits perfectly with Thanksgiving, family birthdays and Christmas, even New Year. Next year I’ll shift it as of January 1 to be always Monday/Tuesday my milk days (as needed), as usually I do most ‘damage’ on the weekends with all the family gatherings.

Yepee! Only 3 days longer on the basic program.

Getting back into every day workout mode is really hard for me, but feeling good after my treadmill and weight workout this early morning.

I splurged on a specialty pot for cooking asparagus – if it arrives today, that’s what I’ll have, on the other hand, making some butternut squash fries also sounds very tempting and I’m not sure what sounds better to me. Isn’t this a nice problem to have?

It’s my first day of my last set of beads on basic… now I am beginning to count-down! If all goes as planned, I’ll be on transition by next Monday. Can’t wait! I am so happy to be over the ‘hump’ of the past few days of dreading each and every day on the program. Whatever comes now my way this week, I know I can face it as I know that next week I am beginning to add chicken and fish back into my life.

The one thing I know I will want to work on diligently is to do a good and full transition. People on the list who ‘fail’ and fall back into bad eating habits all say that they didn’t do a full transition or skipped it all together. As much as I do not want to cheat to ensure fastest progress though this program, just as much do I want to ensure a good transition so that I never have to go BOB – back on beads.
